The Architectural Technologist’s role in the design team has become increasingly important to help develop and implement construction solutions using emerging technologies that ensure buildings are efficient and performing to required standards.
Building standards and techniques are constantly evolving, with technical solutions increasingly being designed and communicated using digital modelling and 3D software, while building legislation moves towards realising zero energy buildings for future generations.
The aim of this programme is to produce graduates with an in-depth knowledge and a range of high-level skills and competencies necessary to succeed as an architectural technologist in the modern age – either in an architectural practice, in engineering, manufacturing and even graphic design.
