Overview
If you’d like to strengthen your knowledge and experience of business following your ordinary degree, then this one year honours degree is the course for you. The focus is on developing a much more strategic perspective on the world of business and management, and understanding the interrelationships between management and other business functions.
You will be required to develop an understanding of key frameworks and theories in areas applicable to business organisations. On successful completion of the ordinary and honours degree programmes, particpants will have knowledge and understanding in a range of core areas relating to business and management including: Business operations and functional areas, Trans functional business areas and Information and Communications.
On successful completion of the Bachelor of Business in Management you will be able to describe theory, concepts and methods pertaining to Management Science and related fields. You’ll also be able to explain good practice in managerial approaches, tools and techniques, and demonstrate mastery of a complex and specialised area of skills and tools in the area of Management Science to conduct closely guided research, professional or advanced technical activities.
